Syracuse is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Syracuse follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I've loved Sakana-Ya since living in Syracuse almost twenty years ago. We went weekly for years while living there. Now, we stop in when we can while we're passing through. It's still just as great as ever. The sushi is always tasty, with both classic and unique combinations. The conveyor belt has become our kids main attraction

Came about right when they opened on one of their AYCE days, so the belt itself was a little sparse. Servers did well to make sure we could order whatever we wanted though. It didn't take long for the Sushi chefs to get a good selection of Sushi onto the belt. Food was solid for the price and there was a good variery. Service was A+.

The food is well priced and the staff doesn't hang around, letting you enjoy the fresh sushi. If you want something that isn't on the line, they'll have it made for you. They offer half off days Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Wednesdays and Fridays are all you can eat.

Sushi is probably one of my favorite go to meals, and conveyor belt sushi is just so much fun. I definitely over ate πŸ˜‚ There were some unique sushi options I've never tried before, one being a fruit California roll? Honestly LOVED it. The mango with some strawberry sauce and fresh fruit? Just wow. Also special ordered the Tataki (think that was the name) and that was amazing as well!!! Keep in mind, specially made rolls are not part of the half off deal (only sushi on the conveyor belt counts). Wish they did a few more of their special rolls on the belt but couldn't eat another bite by the end lol. Give this place a try if you're in the area!!

We sat at the conveyer belt for sushi. The sushi itself is decent, with spicy tuna being my favorite. Some sushi plates were mediocre, such as seared tuna and cupcake roll. Overall it was a good experience. Also, the restaurant promoted 50% off all conveyer belt sushi, but the original price ranges from 7 to 14 dollars per plate (4 pcs each), which is unreasonable and unheard of. The 50% off is more like a regular price in other conveyer belt sushi restaurants elsewhere.
